Steak night will be held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month starting at 6:30 PM.  Call 830-589-2202 for reservations.

We will be offering a selection of steaks, chicken, fish, and other specials.

It wouldn’t be steak night without a ribeye cooked to order, a baked potato, veggies and  fresh baked bread.  The steaks are hand cut and trimmed by our cafe manager Shannon.  Our steaks, like our burgers, are grilled over an open flame.

Yes, Shannon takes the time to rotate the steaks to get the pretty grill marks on them.  That is simply the pride he takes in preparing your meal.

You might opt for the grilled chicken breast on a bed of rice.  Notice the care Shannon takes to align the grill marks again?  This chicken is juicy and flavorful.

 

 

 

 

 

Blackened Catfish

 

We will also offer a flaky, blackened catfish with cream sauce served on a bed of rice.  The sauce is made from scratch and may be cilantro, jalapeno, or other style.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Local musicians will be performing.

The continuing rain has helped the blackberries so we are ready to pick!  Priceis $4.00 for a quart.

 

The Peach crop did not set this year and some figs were frozen back.  Some varieties of apples are looking good for July.

DATES: Be sure to put us on your fall calendar. Opening day is October 6th and we are open every Saturday, Sunday and Monday through October 29th. Gates open at 10 am and close at 4:00 pm. Grounds close at 4:30 pm.  Admission is $6.00 per person.

October 6th is Military Appreciation Day!  Our soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines their get in for 1/2 price!
